This main lighting solution for new builds adapts for ease of connection to TDG’s revolutionary Capacitive Storage system as well as ILCU and LCU based battery solutions for compliance to APTA-PR-E-S-013-99 Rev.1 (Formally APTA SS-E-013-99 Rev 1 ) “Standard for Emergency Lighting System Design for Passenger Rail Cars” & FRA 49 CFR Parts 238 and 239 Emergency Lighting Requirements. As well as APTA RT-S-VIM-020-08 “Standard for Emergency Lighting System Design for Rail Transit Vehicles”
We offer:
New LED or Fluorescent fixtures
- 24, 28.5, 37.5 and 74, 110 vdc applications which are covered by a 10 – 95vdc & 50 – 130 vdc operating range on LED installations or dedicated leading technology electronic DC Ballasts
- 110 – 240VAC systems in both LED and Fluorescent
- Diffuser Technology lenses (for LED applications) or clear and translucent lens options
- Reverse polarity and transient spike protection
- Up to 200,000-hr continuous operation for an LED system, achieved by purposefully under-driving high-efficiency LEDs
- 3-year warranty on the Lexekon Ballast product family

Track Lights
Exterior, Light RailTrack lights on light rail vehicles (LRVs) illuminate the tracks directly in front.
We offer:
- Ruggedized polycarbonate lens (NFPA 130 compliant for flame, smoke, and toxicity requirements) which stands up to harsh traffic environments and daily car washes
- An internal LED mounting angle incorporated to eliminate blinding of oncoming drivers or pedestrians
- Custom sealed designs available
- A focused tight beam which illuminates tracks and switch points up to 50 feet in front of a light rail vehicle (LRV).
- Delphi Weather Pack connector as well as other sealed connectors upon request
- Availability as a drop-in replacement for standard round sealed beam lights
- Reverse polarity and transient spike protection
- 100,000-hr minimum continuous operation for an LED system
- 24-month warranty on LED fixtures

Passive HPPL LLEPM Flooring System
Interior, Light RailThis passive high performance photoluminescent (HPPL) low location exit pathway marking (LLEPM) flooring system is fully repairable.
We supply:- An aluminum base that is easily installed, provides optimal thermal management, and can be quickly secured to existing fixture back liners
- 24, 28.5, 37.5 and 74vdc applications which are covered by a 10-95vdc operating range on LED installations.
- 110 – 240VAC systems in both LED and Fluorescent
- Reverse polarity and transient spike protection
- Up to 200,000-hr continuous operation for an LED system, achieved by purposefully under-driving high-efficiency LEDs
- 10.5 – 18W power consumption on 48” unit depending on T12 or T8 replacement
