  • LED Vestibule Lighting

    TDG offers a wide variety of vestibule rail lighting fixture solutions. They can be single-function LED or fluorescent replacements. Also, they can incorporate a lens-mounted spotlight utilizing TDG’s revolutionary Capacitive Storage system for self-contained emergency lighting.

    We offer:

    • New LED or Fluorescent fixtures
    • 24, 28.5, 37.5, 74, 110 vdc applications which are covered by a 20-95VDC & 50 – 130VDC operating range on LED installations or dedicated leading technology electronic DC Ballasts
    • AC Versions available (110 – 220 VAC)
    • Rectangular or Round versions
    • Diffuser Technology lenses (for LED applications) or clear lenses
    • Reverse polarity and transient spike protection
    • 200,000-hr minimum continuous operation for an LED system, achieved by purposefully under-driving high-efficiency LEDs
    • 3-year warranty on the Lexekon Ballast product family

    • Optional Ethernet or customized interface to control lighting levels/color across train set.

    This main lighting solution for new builds adapts for ease of connection to TDG’s revolutionary Capacitive Storage system as well as ILCU and LCU based battery solutions for compliance to APTA-PR-E-S-013-99 Rev.1 (Formally APTA SS-E-013-99 Rev 1 ) “Standard for Emergency Lighting System Design for Passenger Rail Cars” & FRA 49 CFR Parts 238 and 239 Emergency Lighting Requirements.

    We offer:

    New LED or Fluorescent fixtures

    • 24, 28.5, 37.5 and 74, 110 vdc applications which are covered by a 10 – 95vdc & 50 – 130 vdc operating range on LED installations or dedicated leading technology electronic DC Ballasts
    • 110 – 240VAC systems in both LED and Fluorescent

  • Organic LED (OLED) Lighting

    TDG was amongst the first globally to offer OLED lighting to the rail industry. With panels as thin as 0.2mm and as light as 4.0g this is an ideal solution for weight reduction and power savings within either a rail car or locomotive.
    With output approaching 140 lm / W as well as a CRI greater than 90 (@4000k) and the ability to offer a fully flexible panel OLEDs are rapidly approaching the levels of efficiency of conventional LEDs with more flexibility.

    This passive high performance photoluminescent (HPPL) low location exit pathway marking (LLEPM) flooring system is fully repairable.

    We supply:

    • Rigid polycarbonate-based HPPL material
    • A scuff-resistant surface
    • Availability in 60-foot continuous lengths
    • A mounting track offered in aluminum or color-matched polycarbonate
    • 24-month warranty
